OWASP's 2023 API Security Top 10 includes broken object-level authorization, broken authentication, object-property authorization issues, unrestricted resource consumption, and broken function-level authorization.7 NIST SP 800-218, by Murugiah Souppaya, Karen Scarfone, and Donna Dodson, describes the Secure Software Development Framework as software security practices integrated into the SDLC to reduce vulnerability risk.8
Do not write "secure API" unless the resume says what kind of security work happened.
